concatenating question

I need to concatenate 3 fields into one field. One is a text field and the other two numbers. I keep getting errors (conversion errors) or a -1 as a result. What am I doing wrong?

use the string concatenation operator "&", i.e.

field = fldStr & "seperator if needed " & fldNum & fldNum2
