Concatenate with tab character between columns

Can I concatenate columns in a database with a tab between each column.
If so is there a special tab charater to use.

sort like this
column1<tab>column2<tab>column3
 
Sort by date Sort by votes
Columns as in fields?
[tt]strString=Field1 & Chr(09) & Field2 & Chr(09) & Field3[/tt]
