Is there a GP setting which prevents the loading of apps in the Startup folder?

I have installed and configured MS Common Scenarios Group Policies and I have set up a computer kiosk using the Highly Maintained - Kiosk GP. It runs fine except for one thing. I have to run an app at startup that loads an on-screen keyboard, but this app does not seem to run when I log on.

I have setup the NT autologon in the registry to automatically log on using the "kiosk" account. If I disable this and log on manually with my ID, the keyboard app loads just fine. But when I log on w/ the "kiosk" account, the app does not load.

Is your Kiosk account a regular user or maybe a guest user? I am assuming you are an admin user. You might have to make that user a power user, or some sort of elevated user, to get the software to load properly at start up. Thats what it looks like to me.

Cheers
Rob

The answer is always "PEBKAC!

After testing, and re-testing, I found that I had enabled a "custom user interface" so that only IE would run (which is what I want). But, with this, it looks as though the computer will not run another program in conjuction with IE. When this starts up, it only runs IE and nothing else (plus it does not give the start button, the task bar, the application bar, or anything else - which is good).
