Computer constantly freezes

A friend sent me an e-mail re Windows Me freezing constantly. I know nothing of Me so I'll post her query and see if some-one has any clues TY in anticipation Purdy


this is what totally freeeezes my puter, to the point where i have to emergency reboot , go thru scan disc, etc to recover use of puter..........(i have dell dimension 4100 with Windows ME--128 RAM) clicking on system restore, clicking on help and support off of taskbar, clllicking on system information off of system tools....and also navigating to various sites on WEb ( such as msn.zone.com).......

This could be a number of things causing your friends problem. Let's try going to my computer, control panel, add/remove software.
double click on Microsoft Internet Explorer,
select the repair option. If this does not fix your problem try the add options and readd all. The next option is to reload IE.
