Hi,

Each day has only 23 hours 55 minutes 48 seconds, why do we never have to adjust time on computer, or the computer alredy know that one day has only 23 hours 55 minutes 48 seconds?

I am curious. :)

Thank you,

This past week all the world's official time keeping clocks (not your cuckoo clock) were adjusted by one second to counteract this problem.

Computer time is taken from several time servers, which in turn are fully accurate. The time adjustment is automatic if you have an Internet connection, otherwise you must manually adjust the clock.

See the Help and Support article "To update the time on your computer".

Because it is taken care of ~ every four years on leap day.

Anyway the clock on your computer isn't accurate enough to care. As most people aren't.

The answer has always been 42
