computer can not detect sound card

we have bought a new computer with a MSI mother board MS-6580 (v2.x) ATX mainboard but when we try to load a video editor soft ware Adobe Premier Pro and Matrox,the computer says it cant detect the sound card. What should we do.

Ignoring it usually works or look for and install a fully compatible card.

I think this is an issue with the video editing software. The soundcard seems to work fine; when the software is started (for the first time?) it complains of having no compatible sound card. I've seen it on a Dual Xeon with Terratec DMX 6Fire 24/96, as well as lesser machines. The operators just ignore it and carry on editing, with no apparent ill effects!
You could check out the Adobe forums, there may be a cheap card that will make the error go away.
