I am setting up an Access 97 database to track elapsed processing time in fractional hours for inbound loads. The ringer is that I need to figure both a gross and a net time for loads that come in over the weekends. We work a 12 hour shift on Sat/Sun, so I need code that will look at the date, translate to day of the week, then subtract the 'null' hours (Friday midnight to Sat. 5:30 am, Sat. 6 pm to Sun 5:30 am, Sun 6 pm to Sun 11:30 pm) where applicable.

I haven't had a chance to learn more than the most basic VBA, can't figure this one out on my own. Any programming help would be appreciated. [sig][/sig]

Could you please post the fields that you are using? It would help to know if date and time are in the same field or separate fields.

This can be done in a query, probably using a function we will define as a module.

The fields I am using are a date/time combo in General Date format, (arrive time) and (complete time).

Thanks for the help! [sig][/sig]

Sorry for the delay; I went on a long weekend vacation. Do you still need help with this? [sig]<p>Kathryn<br><a href=mailto: > </a><br><a href= > </a><br> [/sig]
