I have a customer with a NAM ver 2.0 installed back in 96. Their NAM died completely (no lights, sounds, nothing) after a power outage. I ordered another NAM, I was wondering 2 things, I was going to switch power supplies first to see if I can save the data on the HDD, is that feasible? Second, if that doesnt work I was going to swap the old HDD and the DLC card into the new NAM is that feasible? the old NAM has 2.0 s/w the new one has 2.1 Thanks in advance for any replies.

If your replacement hard drive truly has R2.1 then you should be able to put the hard drive from the R2.0 into the replacement NAM. Big caveat - replacing hard drives in NAMs causes them to revert to only 2 active channels. Try the power supply first as curlycord suggested.
