Hi --
Up until yesterday, my database was working fine. But suddenly all of my reports that use Date() are not running properly. The message I get is "Compile error: Can't find project or library" but when I check my references, nothing is marked as missing.
Any ideas? Thanks!

RLA,
You've already checked my first suggestion. STrange that nothing is missing. If VBA is referenced and this is VBA code -> try changing Date() to VBA.Date() ... I've used this to sneak around this bug before. It might work for you. But if nothing is missing, that is strange. Give my suggestion a try. I hope there aren't 5000 Date() methods you need to go through ;-) ... Nice thing is that you can use the Find/Replace option to get them all in one swoop.

There's a bug in Access where it can stop recognizing common functions. Its documented in the MS KnowledgeBase. The way around it is to open any source code, open the references list, close the references list, go out of Access, come back in and you'll be all set.
