Hi All,

Did any one have comparision document between NetWorker, ArcServe and Veritas.

Pls help me...

Regards

I am a Senior Analyst at a consulting firm (un-named of course) ... Legato NetWorker is the best by far. Veritas is full of bugs and too costly for the effort that they actually put into the program. They just market it well. ArcServeIT is just lame all around with many DR Watsons on NT and pretty much dropped all UNIX support.

Legato NetWorker install easy, even in a SAN with Dynamic Drive Sharing enabled and is easy to administer (if you know how to use a computer) Veritas is at the same place that Legato NetWorker was 5 years ago in technology

If your point is backup, Legato is the best for you in enterprise environment (Unix, NT,2000, Linux).
ArcserveIT well on only NT and 2000. But both Arcserve IT and Veritas Netbackup have their database or index problem.
