I'm in the process of upgrading our backup hardware to a new faster server and tape library.

Old system was using TL891 & ARCserve 2000 with the new system running MSL5026s2 & Backup Exec v9.

When backing up the same server the TL891 runs at 297 mb/min while MSL5026s2 does 322 mb/min.

I know i'm doing apples to apples here with backup software but I'm thinking the new server and library should be faster then 322mb/min then again maybe I'm wrong with that.

I'm wondering how fast this new SuperDLT library should be.
