Compact Error 1

Hello All,

I am having an error when I try to compact. This database lives on a network and has user level security. I get the following error message "the db the database is opened exclusively by userid ( This user id is mine) and I should try again when the db becomes available. I did not open the db exclusively.

Try rebooting your machine!!

and there might be someone else that accessed the Database and he will also have to reboot eventhough they claim they are out.

Hint!!

Check the ldb file in the same directory as the database and open it with notepad or wordpad and see all userid's locking the database.

Just a note. The LDB file is only readable by Wordpad prior to 2000.
