compact error message

I came back from vacation and tried to compact and repair the database. I get the message that file cdrd001.mdb could be open.

I rebooted TM (version 5) and tried again (which has worked in the past), but got the same message. There is plenty of room on the disk. And as far as I know there is no limit on the size of this file with 5.
