CDR is great... works a treat and even better if you already have Galaxy installed. You can schedule recovery points at central site and back them up.
Dont forget this is a byte level near-real time replication product. You must have sufficient bandwidth between source and destination to support the daily change rate.

The remote office backup solution is based on a single instanced MagLib at remote site replicating changed chunks to the central site Maglib using CDR as the replication engine. Remote office backup may be a better fit if you have multiple servers at remote sit to protect, whereas CDR si probably a better fit for single server remote sites.
