Commvault and Windows Server 2008

Does any know if CV Galaxy Express version 5.9.0 is compatible with Windows Server 2008. I found some documentation on Comvaults website but it didn't specify what versions were compatible.

Hi

It should be supported (not all versions of 2k8 though) as long as you install latest Service Pack but, I would double check with Dell first

Spoke with Dell and Commvault Galaxy Express version 5.9 is not compatible with Server 2008. Version 7.x is.

Yeah you have to be at least 7.0.

Actually you will need to be running v7.0SP3 with May2008PostPack for official support for 2008.
