communicating with Meridian Mail

I am trying to use Aspect to make global changes in Nortel Meridian mail. I need to know how to transmit (the space bar) to highlight an object and then to transmit the (F8) key to select it.

Any help?

The command "termkey 0x77" will send the mapped contents of the F8 key to the remote system. "termkey 0x20" will send a space. You can find the values of other virtual keycodes in the ASPECT help file, just look at the second to last help topic after you have clicked on the Contents tab.

Nortel Networks uses a proprietary key map set to communicate with the Meridian Mail. If you are still experiencing problems, let me know and I will email you the map set.
