Common Desktop Icons For Domain Users

I am trying to set it up so that everyone in my domain that logs in has some common desktop items... is this possible?

where would i go to do this?

are there any group policies or anything else that needs to be implemented.

You could create a profile on a workstation with all the settings and shortcuts that you require and then copy it to a network share. Once you have done this you can set the users profile to be picked up from the share, this can be set in the users profile tab in active directory.
