Hi,
can i know what is the command to list the tapes in my library?
thanks

i want to list the tape labels in the library

You should be able to see this from the gui, under media tab >all volume pools. You can than cut and paste this data to excel. Are you using windows?

i think it is bpmedialist

how to use bpmedialist to only list those tapes which are currently in the library

I think you would have to do a ' |grep -v offsite ' on the end of the command.

how to do this on windows 2000 ?

Its by afar easier to just go and use the GUI

1. Go To Media Tab
2. Sort by Robot Type
3. Any tape listed with TLD next to it is in your robotic Library.

To get eh BPMEDIALIST options either download the Netbackup commands pdf or type BPMEDIALIST -help
