Hi,

I hope I am in the right forum for this question.

We have a report which needs to be updated each morning using CR v8.5. I do not have the report set to automatically refresh when opened because it needs to be opened during the day without refreshing.

Is there a command line switch I can setup in a shortcut when calling this particular report which will force it to refresh the data when opening?

Thanks,

john

No such option in Crystal itself, but there are several 3rd-party report schedulers (see that can let you schedule the report to run every morning and export to an RPT file (with saved data) to a location where it can be opened by your users.

Cheers,
- Ido CUT, Visual CUT, and DataLink Viewer:
