comma-delimited as400 file 1

hi everyone!

i hope somebody could help me with my dillema. Im using CPYTOPCD command in my CL program to copy files to a common PC folder which will be accessed by a VB program. I need this files to be comma delimited when i download them to the common PC folder. Any help will be appreciated.Thanks!

Copy To Import File (CPYTOIMPF) will allow you to specify a CSV output format.

The only problem with the CPYTOIMPF command is that it leaves the blanks in the field, it doesn't trim them. I've written my own program to create CSV output.

i was able to use CPYTOIMPF in my CL program and it worked!
