ComboBox Apparance

Good Morning to everyone.

In a simple form I have two controls: one textBox and one comboBox.
If I set the Appearace property of the textBox to 0=Flat then it actually appears flat with a thin border around, but if I do the same for comboBOX, nothing happens and the control remains sunken.
Do you know how to to?
