I have a comboBox (comboBox to lool up the values in a table or query) then I want to have another comboBox using DLookup to list all the records associated with the value chosen in the 1st comboBox(comboJcode).
What did I do wrong ? Thanks

=DLookUp("CorrectionYear","tblJCode","JCode='" & [Forms]![frmSearch].[comboJCode] & "'")

Hi again ooops!

Check out KenReays faq faq702-4289 for linking of comboboxes - use SQL to allow a selection, Dlookup will only return one value.

If the above code is within a control source, use only the comboname, not the full reference in the criteria part.

Do also check out the following faq: faq181-2886

How are you doing on thread702-760638?

Thanks so much. I've decided to have textboxes for users to key in now. It's not a best solution but my time is running out.
I did fine on Thread702-760638.
Again, I really appreciate all your help.
