Our db has a form on which we use "filter by form" to select current clients names from the records. when we try to filter by form the pull-down list shows "is null or is not null" instead of a list of entries. <br>this happens once the db is larger than 1000 records, i checked the records, all are OK, it just happens when we go past 1000 ......even made a db of 1001 identical OK records !!!<br>what am I doing wrong? help!!

combo box returns "is null, is not null" 1

ray -- Look in Tools/Options... <br><br>On the Edit/Find tab are options for "Filter by form defaults". The default for the maximum number of items in a list is set to 1000.
