combo box repeating choice

When my user chooses from a list in a combo box on a subform, the system then fills down, thus giving the same value to each row. What did I do wrong? how do I make it accept a different choice in each row? Mooo... :)

Sounds like your combo box is not bound. Specify a control source to a field and it should work.

When I do that the box has #?NAME in it and won't allow a choice from the list at all. Mooo... :)
