Combo Box Question

IS there a way to make the list of the combo box drop down on the GotFocus event? I tried changing the style but it is readonly at runtime. I need the boxes to be style 0 until they get focus and then I need for the list to sutomatically display if at all possible. Likewise I need the list to be gone when I lose focus.
