Combo Box Help

Write now I have a combo box that Access set up for me, it is setup in the after update box, and it updates the form after the record is selected in the combo box.  The question is, when i type something in the combo box, and the record is not found in the list, instead of giving me some kind of error, it updates the form to the first record in the database sequence.  I attempted to use the 'On Not In List' box to try to possiblly bring up an add form, but was unsuccessful.  Thanks in advance!

if you are wanting to stop them from being able to enter what is not in the list then set the limit to list property to yes if you want to make it add data <br>see elizabeth's FAQ<br><A HREF="
