Combo box default value 1

I want the default value for a field to be yes, I want to pass that from the combobox1 automatically. right now the combobox1 allows me to drop down a "yes" or "no" but the user must keypress to get the yes or no. What I am looking for is that the combo box automatically have yes on top and no second and the user only touches the combo if they want to change to no.

Any ideas on this?

Thanks, I added the second set of code to my add new records button. It works great.

I also tried out the first one, but liked the second better for my app.
