Hello,

Okay, trying to make a booklet of about 120 pages. I've splitted it in separate chapters, and now I want to combine them into one single document to sent to the printer.

Here's the point: I can't figure out HOW!!!

It's "ancestor" PageMaker can do it, using the <Utilities> menu Book-option, but I just can't find it in InDesign...

Can anyone tell me how to tackle the problem?

Thanks,

BarTee

Hello,
The build booklet feature is a script you will find on the Indesign cd.
:)

Hi,

This is very simple in InDesign 2.0, File>New>Book

And the resulting book palette is deadly powerful

Try and Enjoy

You may need to deal with two issues here, building the book from separate files and imposition.

DesignGuy is correct about the book palette but you may also need to impose the pages for printer spreads instead of the default readers spreads that InDesign produces. I bought 'InBooklet' from alap.com. It is much better than the buildbooklet script that comes with InDesign. You can download a 15 day trial.
