Combine note field on mainform and popup

I have a form with a field for notes and a popup form with a field for notes. Is there a way to set it up that the main form notes will automatically show up in the popup form note field and still allow me to add additional notes to that field on the popup?

If the popup form and the main form are bound to the same record source (and the notes control is bound to the notes field) there is nothing more you need to do except recalc the main form to reflect the changes made in the popup.
