COM objects with sp_OA on a cluster

We are running an Active/Passive Win2K/SQL2K cluster. We have written some COM .exe's that are being called using sp_OA. Everything works fine on a single Win2K/SQL2K server, but we haven't tested them on the cluster yet. Has anyone done this? We are worried about what will happen if one of the components is executing during a failover.
