We use an application that uses Com+.
Vista does not come with this installed.
If we insatll XP then upgrade com+ remains and the app works fine. As you can understand this is not how we wish to procede.

Is there any way to install Com+ into Vista?

Type "dcomcnfg" in Start/ Run to launch Component Services in Vista.

Thanks
Further investigation seems to be the installer having issues in vista. even when com+ services are enabled

Have you tried all the usual stuff.

Turn off firewalls, AV and AntiSpy stuff
Turn off UAC
Right click the installer 'exe' and select Run as Administrator.
