I am printing a report on two columns. When I print the last record of a column part of the information is printed on the next column. Is there a way to prevent this behavior?

Hi mgagnon

In fact the problem is that my detail band as a variable lenght. I want to print all info pertaining to a record on a page/column (similar to preventing orphan paragraph in Word).

Au plaisir.

Something I've used is stretching the detail band so that with it and the header and footer it's one page long (this takes a lot of tweaking and previewing).

I used a memo field for the data as well as a SET ____ command (escapes me at the moment) to forces it to wrap at XX characters. This may work for you. Be sure to stretch out the field on the report and disallow stretching. Hope this helps!
