Colored printout in 8.5 Reports, strange

Hi there,

Hoping to find an answer for my problems here.
I am using CR 8.5 on W2k.
I have some reports with embedded OLE bitmaps. They were originally converted from CR7 version. Everythings works ok so far, preview looks wonderful, but as soon I print them, the output looks grayscaled, no COLOR at all. WHY?
I can create any other report with the same OLE Link to the same bitmap, that works.
Strange also is, that when I add any colored item to that report,this is also printed grayscale. It seems that these reports have lost the color information, but only for printing and not for previewing...
Is there a way (general settings or whatever) to change this behaviour????
I have other reports generated in V7, which are printed in color...

Do some reports work and others not?
If so, compare the selected printer and printer settings to see if it is trying to send it to the correct printer. Ken Hamady, On-site Custom Crystal Reports Training & Consulting

ok, does that mean, that a general info can be stored with the report if it should printed colored or not?

It is not a direct setting. I am guessing that a change in printer or printer driver could cause it to lose the colors. Ken Hamady, On-site Custom Crystal Reports Training & Consulting
