I use my computer for business and have too many programs loaded for the "start/programs" screen to show. The programs just truncate on the right side of the screen. I have tried to make a folder and put like programs in the folder, but then the programs won't run. Is there a fix for this?

When you say start/programs screen I assume you mean the start menu and that as you open it it goes all the way across the screen (from left to right)?

Once the menu reaches across the screen your menu should start to come back across to the left, and you want to create folders to put the shortcuts from the start menu into to make your menu a bit more managable?

Am I correct or way off?

You can right click on the start button and select Open or explore and then from there you can create folders and move the shortcuts around.

You cannot move around the actual program files, but you can move the shortcuts that point to those files anywhere you want.

Another Idea

1) Right Click your task bar in an open spot

2) Select the properties option

3) Click the advanced tab

4) Scroll down in the "start menu settings" box and check
"Scroll the Programs Menu"

5) Click the resort button

This should help a little although it still will be a headache I think. ___________________________________________________
