I cant get my colors from photoshop 6 to match what dreamweaver gives me. I've tried all the methods of custom choosing. The color is close but not right.

try using a websafe palette

If you are trying to get a background color in your graphic to match an HTML background color you will need to use a GIF format graphic.

Even if you use the Websafe pallet in Photoshop, if you don't save as a GIF then there will be color shifts in your JPG graphic.

To assure a match with Dreamweaver, use hexadecimal color values instead of names or color swatch selections. For example, FF0000 is pure red. If you use this color value in both Photoshop (GIF format) and Dreamweaver, your graphic background and page background will match exactly.

I hope this has been of help.
