color coding text in a report

I am trying to put together a report that will color code the text on a report. I have a table with entries attached to needed color values (128, 32768, etc), but I can't figure out a way to code this into the report. I could create a bunch of subreports but would really rather not, if there is a way to code this. Can anyone help me?
Or is there a way that I am not thinking of?
