In Excel 2000, when editing a formula with brackets, the matching brackets are colored, so it's easy to see what's between them.
I recently started using Excel 2003. I don't get this option anymore, nor can I find where to turn this on.

Does anyone know if this is still possible and how to use it?
Thanks

Well my version of 2003 does hve the cloured brackets so it must be settign somewhere, I just can't find it either.
It does only work on nexted brackets though.

I think I found it..
I have very complex - non excel - formula's with a lot of brackets. To get an overview of the formula's I wanted to use Excel to see the colored brackets, but didn't use the = sign.

When I start the function with an =, it works.

Thanks anyway
