I have multiple shots of a person and am know trying to correct the color for al the shots so they kind of look a like.

You'll have to A:B the shots if you don't have AE6.x Use external scopes or third party utilities.
In AE 6.x you can use SA: Color Finesse to A:B internally, get scope readings and come up with creative split comps to see results.
Color Finesse is really excellent for color matching.
