My company uses a web based app to pull customer data from a local machine's Outlook contacts database. Our IT folks tell me it uses something called "Collaboration Data Objects". App works fine for all those using Outlook 2003 & down, but it locks up my machine which is on Office 2007.
When using the add/remove features of the Office installer, CDO shows up as an option under the Outlook program on the older versions of Office. CDO does NOT show up as a selectable option for 2007. Was it removed or renamed? If it's still there somewhere, it shouldn't be causing a problem. I did a FULL Office install with every option selected. I'm just grasping at straws trying to figure out why this web app no longer works.
FYI, I don't think it is security based. I've got the website in question in as a trusted site, and other apps from there work fine.
Any other ideas?
