Hi,

Even though it's against the principe of ColdFusion I think I can never do harm in asking this (in case the following scenario would be possible).

Let's say I have a website in ColdFusion containing produkt information for our sales people [all product info]. When then visit a customer I want them to be able to use this application on theire portable, but I don't want to install Personal Web Server (or others) and coldfusion server on theire portable.

Is theire a software tool/... which can simulate my application without having to install a webserver and coldfusion server?

I guess it's a no, but hey, one never knows ;-)

Thanks guys
bram

Hey Bram,

If you don't want to install it because of the cost, you could always use the stripped down version of CF which is free. It has most of the functionality you would likely need. If there are other reasons why you need to do this outside of a webserver, you could re-write your application in VB. A VB app could access your database and provide the same information that your CF application does.
