Hi,

I have recently got ColdFusion and I am running it on Windows XP in conjunction with IIS. I have been able to create a database in Access 2002 and ad to the ColdFusion server and subsequently query it from a cfm file. But I am haveing troube with two things. One, the database doesn't seem to be updating when I make changes. Two, I would like to create an inventory of vehiles that shows a list with limited options first and when that stock number is clicked on shows the complete set including a picture. Could someone point me in the right direction. I just picked this stuff up today so I am very fresh to it. I would appreciate any help. Thanks!

Hello Lucas!

I am a newbie myself so, I would suggest you buy this book Essential Flash 5 (
I read their 4.5 version and it was great. This book will hold you by the hand and show you how to do things such as those you ask and beyond.

Check the web site I am working on based on what I learned from this book login as demo@decodemo.com and use demo as password.

I have only worked on administrative options so most links are not functional !!!!!

You can buy the above mentioned book in eBay for a few bucks - That's what I did 8-)

Good luck!
