Hi,

At work, I have the opportunity of trying the beta of Windows Server .NET. Can one install CF5 in that environment. I will admit I've tried without knowing and found out the installer doesn't detect IIS properly. I'm assuming there are steps I can take to get IIS to recognize cfm files properly and deal with them via the right DLL. Anyone willing to lend me a hand or am I being too much of a maverick? :)

I am not familair with .net but I have had this happen on win2k server.

I went into the registry and looked for the .cfm and the IIS extensions, and did manual associations.

It is cumbersome and I have to admit it looked different from one server to the next.

Ironically enough, I had to reinstall the .NET server and somehow, the second time around, it got connected right...or at least better. I can see the admin page and the docs. Oh well, chalk this up to the mysteries of bad install runs... Thanks for the help, Jawa. I would have had to go regediting otherwise... :)
