In the process of merging together several forms into a tab control form and finding I have a problem because I used absolute references to form fields and objects ... is there a FAQ or tec reference that describes methods of dereferencing so that these forms will work either as forms or subforms?

The usual way is to play with the Me keyword.

Hope This Helps, PH.

I hate it when you look for something that is right under your nose ... thanx TEK-TIPS!!!

PS ... Me doesn't work in Queries so I was still forced to use absolute references for my parameter queries ... I tried to use the getVariable method but it was very slow
