It's an odd, annoying problem that I have encountered once before (on a totally different machine), that I unfortunately do not recall how to resolve.
Simply put, it seems like all the text in code view is squeezed. Say each character in code view needs X number of pixels to be properly displayed, but each character only gets 80% of the space required to be displayed properly.
If I type the letter M, then the right-most line of the M is cut off.
It doesn't do it if it's a text file, but it does if it's html, php, or any other extension that uses tags.
Has anyone heard of this before?
If so, how do you resolve it?
I have tried to remove all traces of dreamweaver (and all settings), and then reinstall, but have yet to find a solution.
All adjustments in text size and whatnot in preferences yields no solution.
Have also updated video drivers, just to be sure.
Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Exactly where is the point that you are assassinated rather than murdered?
