Code Translation Table Method

I am new to programming, so I have what probably is a simple question.

I have been using SQL Station to update code. I created a picklist using a query, know I would like to use a codes translation table method to define text for the codes, but am not really sure how to start.

Could anyone help me with this? I would really appreciate it, Thanks :)

Pick up a newbie book on SQL and begin to learn about relational databases which will help you visualize SQL more...
