I am creating a report using a form - where users input a parameter (server hostname) and then run the report for that parameter.

Having Created a Report in Print Preview Mode, I want to move the report to a word file, and save it as the parameter selected in the form.

Does anyone know how I can do this ??

Thanks for any help received

Dan
Dan Auber
DanAuber@aol.com
<a href= Auber's Home Page
in access help see output to method

DoCmd.OutputTo objecttype[, objectname][, outputformat][, outputfile][, autostart][, templatefile]

Thanks - that's very useful - I don't suppose you (or anyone) knows the exact code I would need if I want the file created to be named from the Form Parameter.

Eg - Parameter on Form is Servername

If the user selects Servername = 'Carrot'

then a report is generated and saved as a file called Carrot.rtf.

Dan Auber
DanAuber@aol.com
<a href= Auber's Home Page
