Code Purple Error Message

XP Home after pressing F10 and completing the restore an error message comes up and says "configuration error... code purple". The only thing I can think of is the purple wire on power supply being to high. I don't think they have a monitoring area in the bios for that though? Any input would help.

Thank you linney, I will try and tattoo it 1st before I change any hardware. If that doesn't work I will change the motherboard.
