hi,

this is more related powerpoint than core VB, but nobody was able to sovle it in the office forum!

ok..the problem is on a powerpoint slide I have a picture on top left which I want to animate (like blind vertically..which powerpoint allows you to do very easily). But I want to repeat that animation after every 3-5 seconds.
how to do this?

thanks in advance for your help.

So you want it to be a blind animation; stop - with full image - for 3 secs, then blind animation agin?

You certainly can easily do a repeat loop, by clicking the animation event in the Custom Animation Task Pane. Under Timing and Effects could can configure that. However, looping it there, will loop it continuously. There is no "pause" then start again. You COULD however, stack the same image on top of the other. Image1 does its blind thing and them hides itself. Image2 (underneath) will then be visible, and with a Delay of 3 secs, will then do ITS blinds thing...and then hide itself. Image3 (underneath will then be visible, and with a delay of 6 or 7 secs will do ITS blind thing...and so on.

I am not sure how you could do it with code.
