Hi everyone,

I would like some advice and guidance on setting up a co located exchange 2003 box.

I am thinking of renting a server in a data centre (someone like Rackspace or Dedicated Server) and then having our corp email server hosted there. Where I am getting stuck is I would like it to be linked to my DC inhouse i.e, when I create a new user or add / amend groups etc I want it to be updated on the co-lo?

I would like to set up the co-lo so users can access it through RPC over HTTP/S and OWA.

Any ideas or sugestions please.

Thank's

You would prob need a VPN tunnel between the two. See what ur host can offer.

Cheers

Thanks FS,

Do you think 2 exchange boxes Frontend and Backend would work also, frontend to be in CoLo facility and backend inhouse ???

Like Fatman said, those are things to check with the host. All depends on what they let you configure, as you will need a 'full trust' for that!
