hi all

ipecs 50 5.5cj only using sip trunks.
every day customer gets a co alarm co01 at 8.50am for 1minute. i have been checking his connection and never drops off, he is also always registered to our sip services.
has anyone seen this or if not, how do you turn off the alarms, or at least change to a destination not connected

thanks
Dave

Thanks doktor, he does but doesn't want to as he believes it's an issue. Why does it happen?

It is an issue, and there is a problem.
With ISDN the "link" or "carrier" is missed, therefore you get this alarm. With SIP the sync is missing.
So, you must have a dialogue with your service provider of SIP trunks and record the data packets around the time, when you get the alarm - with wireshark.

Turned out to be a bug on the cj version, changed to Df and it stopped

Is the ADSL service connected to the Alarm Mode3.
If not wired correctly it will drop the service as it reports to base & create an alarm.
May not be relavant but a possibility
